Description
Langosta Rosa or pink spiny lobster has a white and fine flesh, and delicate flavor. It is one of the most exclusive crustaceans in the market.
Langosta rosa ( in English the pink lobster) (in Latin Palinurus mauritanicus) is distinguished from the common lobster by its characteristic pinkish hue and mottled spots, as well as a head visibly larger than the body. It is caught below 200 m depth in southern Mediterranean waters. It usually measures between 25 and 50 cm and weighs between 700 g and 7 kg.
